THE ART OF SELF-DEFENCE
Knowing you have the physical and mental capacity to take care of yourself is one thing. However, for many, the physical protection aspect involves just being somewhat agile, fit and healthy. Are these characteristics enough to protect yourself from hostile situations or threatening individuals?
For many people, they just need to have some form of reassurance that they can adequately protect themselves and others around them. This is where self-defence training comes into play.
Many people assume self-defence classes as being a space to practice martial arts such as kickboxing, judo, taekwondo or jiu-jitsu. However, a self-defence course comes in many forms, and they can usually be tailored to accommodate specific needs, age groups or ability levels.
