The first achievement from Sadhana is neither peace, nor meditation, nor concentration; the first achievement is coordination between actions and thoughts.
Unless there is coordination between actions and thoughts, no matter how much effort a person makes, he will not be able to feel stability and peace of mind.
Therefore, the first experience and achievement in spiritual practice is that harmony is established between thoughts and actions.
With the establishment of this balance, attachment towards subjects starts working. Attraction towards subjects and pleasures starts decreasing.
As a result of these circumstances, there is a change in perspective and only then the doors to happiness and joy open, not before that.
That’s why what we call happiness and joy
It is an altered state of mind and consciousness.
It is not something that we can achieve for ourselves through spiritual practice. It is a changed, moderate and balanced state of mind.
